Hiking

Thursday the weather was beautiful. I mean really really perfect. Fredrik and I went up to the Jura mountains directly from work for a quick (3 hour) hike up and back.

The start of the hike is up a nice wide but steep path. We went up 300 meeters vertically in the first 20 minutes and at that point I was panting hard already. I need to do this more often. At that point we left the trail to scale some rocks/small-cliffs till we got above the treeline. Half of the pictures are from this part of the hike.

Once we got above the treeline we got back onto the trail and raced the sun to the top. We did stop a few times to look at the wildflowers coming out everywhere. Once we hit the top we paused for a moment and went the side of the peak and back to the bottom. A great hike but I'm a little bit sore today.
